The VIP Hotel Singapore is located in a quiet area amongst high-end residences. The nearest MRT station is Newton (1 stop away from Orchard), which is about a 15-minute walk away, thus it is not the most convenient of hotels. However. guests will be able to enjoy the tranquility of this neighbourhood. Renovations on the hotel were recently completed in May 2009. so it is rather new. There is a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi at the hotel surrounded by a small garden and waterfall. In keeping with its theme of relaxation, it also has an aromatherapy sanctuary spa exclusively for ladies.

The highlight of the rooms at the VIP Hotel Singapore is the 32' wall-mounted LCD television, rather large for a hotel of its class. Internet access is also cheap at S$3 a day in the room if you have a laptop, or not so cheap at S$1 for 15 minutes for use of the computer at the hotel lobby.

Aside from its relative isolation, the VIP Hotel Singapore presents itself as a hotel that takes good care of its guests.
