The Marina Bay Sands is the second Integrated Resort (IR) to open in Singapore. The Hotel

With 2500 rooms housed in 3 cascading hotel towers linked at the top by the Sands Sky Park, you can be guaranteed of an excellent stay in luxury. Guests can choose from 3 room types and 10 suite varieties, with most rooms boasting panoramic views of the city skyline. Expect top-notch room amenities such as cable television, DVD players, wired/wireless internet access, working desks, newspaper deliveries and great panoramic views of the city skyline or the sea! 

Atrium Rooms - These are located on the lower floors, up to level 22. Easily accommodates a group of 4, with ease of access to the resort's attractions like the casino, shops and restaurants.

Horizon Rooms - Located on the higher floors of the hotel towers, these rooms offer spectacular views of the Marina Bay city skyline or of the sea. Comfortably accommodates a group or family of 4. 

Marina Bay Club Rooms - Located on the higher floors, guests will enjoy the luxury of The Marina Bay Club and the Sands Sky Park. At approximately 200m above the city, you'll enjoy great views, all day dining, complimentary internet access, daily newspaper deliveries, evening cocktails, an all-day beverage bar and so much more! 

Orchid Suite - A 90 sq metre exquisitely designed suite with one bedroom and a living room. Suite guests have access to the Marina Bay Club's facilities, luxurious amenities in the bathroom and even have access to private meeting spaces!

Marina Suite - At 196 sq metres, guests will have a bird's eye view of the city skyline. In addition, guests have a choice of either an exercise or a games room in the suite. Suite guests will also have access to a dedicated team of butlers that attend to any request, no matter how small. 

Bay Suite - Slightly smaller than the Marina Suite, this suite has 2 bedrooms and a cosy living room. 

Sands Suite - Slightly larger than the Marina Suite, this suite has a large master bedroom and a well-decorated living room. 

Singapura Suite - This is a 142 sq metre suite, with 2 tastefully designed bedrooms, a splendid living room and a games or media room. A games room features a pool table while the media room offers a great home theatre experience. Additionally, there is a bar from which drinks can be prepared and served. 

Istana Suite - Similar in size to the Sands Suite at approximately 213 sq metres, there are 2 bedrooms, a living room with a dining area and an exercise room with a massage corner. This is perfect for guests looking to host a meeting or a dinner in a posh setting. 

Merlion Suite - This suite has similar amenities as the Istana Suite, with the only difference being this suite is 387 sq metres in size. 

Straits Suite - Designed for the contemporary guest, with the ambience of a luxurious residence. Guests have many entertainment options much like previous suites, with the addition of a baby grand piano. There is a master bedroom, and a second bedroom, both coming with attached bathrooms. Bathrooms have double sinks, a jacuzzi bathtub, a rain shower, make-up mirrors and a large variety of amenities for guests' use. 

Presidential Suite - The 509 sq metre Presidential Suite guarantees an exceptional experience. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have furnished balconies. There are also 2 living rooms meant for accommodating many guests or hosting a party. There is also a dining area with a bar, pantry, fridge and even a microwave oven. There are the exercise room, media room and also a baby grand piano. 

Chairman Suite - The most luxurious of suites is huge! This 629 sq metre suite sits pretty on the 54th floor, with 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a dining area with 2 bars, media and games rooms, a baby grand piano, an exercise room and 2 furnished balconies in 2 rooms. All these amenities and facilities coupled with unrivaled personal attention from a team of butlers makes for an unforgettable experience that is "luxurious" in every sense of the word! What's more, guests have access to the Marina Bay Club's facilities on the 57th floor. Sands SkyPark

The one hectare SkyPark sitting atop the three 55-storey hotel towers 200m above the city is longer than the Eiffel Tower laid down and is the length of four and a half A380 jumbo jets! This engineering marvel will feature splendidly designed landscaped gardens with hundreds of plant varieties. There is also a swimming pool in the middle and is accompanied by several restaurants and lounges. 

From the observation deck of the SkyPark, visitors will be treated to an unforgettable panorama that is the Singapore city skyline. 

The Shoppes

This is Marina Bay Sands' premier retail and restaurant space, with over 800 000 sq feet of luxury outlets and eating options. Besides luxury labels like Fendi, Bvlgari, Ralph Lauren, Patek Phillipe etc, do take time to admire this magnificently designed location. A man-made canal runs through the premises, where shoppers can take a relaxing boat ride, much like The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas! 

Stores at The Shoppes will be opening throughout 2010, with most if not all retail outlets up and running by the year's end. 

Nightlife

Singapore's nightlife scene has steadily grown in stature over the recent years. With the completion of the Marina Bay Sands, party and club goers will have even more reason to cheer. The 5 more nightspots slated to open - Fuse, Sancy, Avalon, Pangaea and the Marina Bay Club. 

Fuse - This cool laid-back lounge will feature live jazz and contemporary music entertainment. Perfect for an intimate social gathering with friends or fellow music-lovers. The lounge serves a wide range of alcoholic drinks, including Fuse's signature creative cocktails and light snacks.

Sancy - This is a show lounge located on the main gaming floor of the casino. International performers and deejays will create a lively high-energy atmosphere to entertain. Alternatively, you could relax by the bar over a simple cocktail. 

Avalon - Avalon has long been the Hollywood celebrity's choice club. Expect top of the line audio systems, international DJs, concert acts and much more creating an atmosphere that aims to give club-goers the ultimate after dark experience. Avalon is located on the second floor of the beautiful crystal pavilion, just above Pangaea. 

Pangaea - Also located within the crystal pavilion, Pangaea is one of the world's most beloved nightclub brands that has graced cities like New York and London. Guests can be guaranteed of an out of this world experience with the DJs, musicians and dancers working to create an unrivalled ambience. 

Marina Bay Club - This club located on the 57th floor is for anyone wanting a taste of the "high life". The wine bar serves light meals and drinks while on weekend evenings, celebrity chefs will take to the rooftop lounge and restaurant to cook signature dishes. After 8pm, guests sample and taste some of the best chocolate creations from the club's unique chocolate bar. 

The Museum

The unique lotus-shaped museum is situated on the Marina Bay waterfront, where visitors can admire the world-class architectural design of the building. The museum will house over 60 000 square feet of galleries featuring exhibits varying from the arts & sciences to media & technology. Like any museum, there will be permanent galleries as well as touring international exhibits.

Marina Bay Sands Theatre & Le Theatre

These are the two theatres at the Marina Bay Sands capable of accommodating a total of 4000 people combined. The Marina Bay Sands Theatre will welcome the cast and crew of "The Lion King" in October 2010. One of the longest running musical of all-time, "The Lion King" has garnered over 70 major international awards and has thrilled over 51 million people worldwide since its inception. The musical is a spectacular experience, with a great blend of cast and costumes backed up with splendid musical scoring. It will certainly be a feast for the eyes and ears of both young and old alike.
