Singapore’s founding father, Sir Stamford Raffles, currently has two statues erected in his honour. One is a bronze statue erected in front of Victoria Theatre and the other is a white poly-marble statue at North Boat Quay, the place where Sir Stamford Raffles is believed to have first landed in Singapore. Both look right at home amidst the cityscape.
