Be Part of History This Chingay 2012

This year's instalment of the Chingay Parade promises to be a feast for the senses! The main show will be staged on 3rd and 4th February at the Formula One Pit Building next to the Singapore Flyer. 2012 also marks the 40th anniversary of the parade, with this year's motto being that of "love, care and kindness everywhere". The parade will also extend to the heartlands on 5, 11, 12 and 18 February.

Universal's First Transformers Ride Opens in Singapore

Universal Studios' 1st Transformers ride in 3D, based on the popular movie franchise, was launched at Resorts World Singapore yesterday. American film maker and producer Michael Bay, who directed all three Transformers movies, appeared in the instantly recognisable yellow Chevrolet Camaro for opening. The Camaro was done up to resemble the Transformers character Bumblebee in car mode.

Feast on the Singapore Food Festival 2011!

The Singapore Food Festival is a significant affair every year. This year's installment will take place from July 15-24 primarily along the Singapore River at Clarke Quay. Numerous food & beverage outlets will be offering great dining deals!

Singapore Food Festival Village - Highlights include the curry and spice street as well as a Gourmet Promenade, where you can over 60 stalls offering local and international fare.

Special Walking Tours for the Months of June and July

Every weekend for the next two months, there will be 20 walking tours that will take enthusiasts on a 90-minute route through iconic landmarks around Singapore. Introduced by the Preservation of Monuments Board, the tours will cost S$5 per person for the first month and S$10 from July.
