Statues of Sir Stamford Raffles

Singapore's founding father, Sir Stamford Raffles, currently has two statues erected in his honour. One is a bronze statue erected in front of Victoria Theatre and the other is a white polymarble statue at North Boat Quay, the place where Sir Stamford Raffles is believed to have first landed in Singapore. Both look right at home amidst the cityscape.

Getting There

Alight at Raffles Place MRT Station (EW14/NS26) and walk across Cavenagh Bridge (towards Victoria Theatre) to see the bronze statue. You will not have to cross the bridge to view the statue along Boat Quay.

Ample signs within the MRT station will guide you to your desired location.
