Recently opened in September 2009, this luxury boutique hotel aims to retain the old charm of Tiong Bahru (where it is located) while still offering guests a luxurious stay. Nostalgia Hotel comprises 2 converted shophouses and a new annexe. Guests in any of the 50 rooms in the hotel should not be surprised to feel like they have been transported back in time. A sort of “time warp”. You will see numerous exhibits around, such as an old radio, weighing scale and old coffee cups. The rooms feature plenty of wood and windows are louvred . In addition, paintings of Chinese opera performers adorn the walls of rooms.
