If you have appetite for only 1 dish, it would be highly recommended to order kway teow from the Lau Fu Zi fried teow stall. This famous stall has been around since before renovation and sometimes wait up 45 minutes it’s your turn order. Is due cook’s insistence on cooking by plate instead of in bulk way quality teow absolutely wonderful which justifies rather long wait although there are several bbq chicken wing stalls, one that sells wings 90 cents per wing, cheaper than others. not over-barbequed meat extremely tender. A worthwhile dish complement meal. besides above mentioned dishes, you’ll find just like any other food centre almost similar varieties local food
