The Arts House at the Old Parliament

Singapore's newest arts and heritage venue

The Arts House at the Old Parliament

The Arts House was formerly home to the Singapore Parliament from 1965 to 1999. In recent times, this place now plays host to inter-disciplinary art exhibitions and concerts. At the Arts House, audiences connect with artists and organizations through a broad range of arts and entertainment events.

This arts centre fills a niche where arts, lifestyle and heritage combine in a cosy and inspiring setting (within Singapore’s oldest government building). The Arts House offers audiences direct involvement through interaction with artists and their works. This is not always the case when attending concerts or performances at other venues. Hence, the Arts House aims to foster closer ties between the performer and the listener.

Guided 45 minute tours daily from 11am till 3pm are available at S$8 per person. A tour includes a short film screening and a drink.
